PPL : Pokhara set 145 run target to Dhangadhi

Pokhara, 2 November : In the today’s first match of Pokhara Premier League, home team Pokhara Paltan has given a target of 145 runs to Dhangadhi Blues.

Pokhara, which opted to bat first after winning the toss, made 144 runs who lost 8 wickets in 20 overs, was under pressure since the start of the first innings. Pokhara lost its first wickets while the run was just 4 runs. Then, for the second wicket, Ashfaq Sheikh and Ravinder Singh’s partnership could also hold a long time.

Pokhara lost second wicket in 48 runs while the two players shared 40 runs. Ashif returned to the Pavilion in 23 runs. Due to which Pokhara lost four wickets in 65 runs.

Rohit Poudel scored 31 runs in the innings. Similarly, Captain Sharad Bheswakar made 14, Mohammad Naveed scored 11 runs and Rashid Khan made 15 runs.

Dipendra Singh Airee of Dhangadhi took four wickets and Peter Trago,Daniel Lawrence and Rabin Chhetri took one wicket each.
