Kathmandu, 1 February : After losing their first of the three T20I match against United Arab Emirates, Nepali team will be looking to level the series as they play the second today at 2:45 pm.
Nepal lost their first T20I by 21 runs despite record-breaking half -century from Sundeep Jora. Only few batsman were in control in that control with Paras Khadka and Sompal Kami giving sigificant contribution.
After wining the first ever ODI Series against the same opponent, Nepal had lost the first match in that series as well. However, Nepal made a brilliant comeback to win the series 2-1 at the end. Therefore, Nepal will be once again looking to bounce back.
Just five days after Rohit Kumar Paudel became the youngest batsman with One-Day International (ODI) half century, Nepal’s Sundeep Jora entered the record books to become the youngest to reach that milestone in the Twenty20 format at 17 years and 103 days.
Nepal is yet to register a T20I series win as well. Nepal had played total of two series, one against Hong Kong and the other against the Netherlands, but was unable to grab a grab win.
